This study examines lumbar spine sensorimotor responses in recreational road cyclists using the instrumented Flexion-Relaxation (iFR) test, combined with surface electromyography (sEMG) and kinematic analysis. I standardized the database to process and analyze signals, segmented the signal for pattern recognition, and time-frequency power analysis.

Community-Based and Everyday Life Gait Analysis: Approach to an Automatic Balance Assessment and Fall Risk Prediction in the Elderly

Participation in a chapter of the book "Human Gait - Recent Findings and Researches" that examines the use of wearable technologies to prevent falls in older adults, applying gait analysis and classification models such as Random Forest and Support Vector Machine, achieving an accuracy of over 72%. Highlighting the potential of these technologies to improve the quality of life of this population, suggesting future advances in fall risk management.

The method effectively detected effort-induced alterations and enabled automated segmentation of motor control patterns, contributing to improved neuromechanical assessment strategies.

Developed for the NeuroFest 2024 outreach event, this interactive web application enables real-time EEG signal acquisition and analysis. During the event, the tool was demonstrated through an experiment comparing EEG entropy when listening to classical music versus metal music, illustrating the relationship between brain complexity and auditory stimuli. The application was released as an open-source project on GitHub to support scientific outreach and educational use.
